Monteveglio is a comune (municipality) in the Province of Bologna in the Italian region Emilia-Romagna, located about 20 km west of Bologna.
Monteveglio borders the following municipalities: Bazzano, Castello di Serravalle, Crespellano, Monte San Pietro, Savignano sul Panaro.
The town is home to a medieval pieve, dedicated to St. Mary and housing a painting by Lorenzo Costa.
