Montanna Thompson

Montanna Thompson^[1] (born November 5, 1988) is an English actress best known for her role as Justine Littlewood, Tracy's biggest rival, in CBBC's popular TV adaption of Jaqueline Wilson's book, The Story of Tracy Beaker. Montanna first appeared in The Story of Tracy Beaker in 2002 which she was originally offered the starring role following her audition but the decision was later changed as she looked nothing like the illustration, also appearing as Justine in the 2004 TV film spin off. She attended Ravenscourt Theatre School as a child.^{[citation needed]}

Career

Thompson's first TV appearance was in 2000, in the CBBC TV show The Queen's Nose, in which she appeared as a foster home resident. Apart from The Story of Tracy Beaker she has played several supporting roles in television dramas.^{[citation needed]}

In 2005, she appeared in a documentary written by Peaches Geldof called Peaches Geldof: Teenage Mind.^{[citation needed]}

Thompson also appeared in the music video for Lady Sovereign's song "9 to 5" in 2006. In 2008, she featured in an episode of The Bill entitled 'Peer Pressure'.^{[citation needed]} In 2012 Montanna reprised her role of Justine Littlewood for the third series of the Tracy Beaker spin off: 'Tracy Beaker Returns' alongside Dani Harmer. Her character Justine Littlewood returned in the seventh episode of the series to reveal that she was getting married and wanted Mike to give her away.
