Montanaro is a comune (municipality) in the Province of Turin in the Italian region Piedmont, located about 20 km northeast of Turin. As of 31 December 2007, it had a population of 5,482 and an area of 20.8 km².[1]

Montanaro borders on the following municipalities: Caluso, Foglizzo, San Benigno Canavese, and Chivasso.
