Montalto Ligure is a comune (municipality) in the Province of Imperia in the Italian region Liguria, located about 100 km southwest of Genoa and about 15 km west of Imperia. As of 31 December 2004, it had a population of 364 and an area of 13.9 km².[1]
Montalto Ligure borders the following municipalities: Badalucco, Carpasio, Dolcedo, Molini di Triora, and Prelà.
