MonaBar is an online shopping rewards platform based in Miami, Florida. Launched in December 2012, MonaBar enables its users to earn cash for their everyday web activities such as shopping online, completing an offer, filling out a survey and a lot more. In 2012, Cnet.com mentioned MonaBar, among other cash-back services, in a blog post about the best money saving tips of 2012. [1]

History

MonaBar started out as a web application that rewards its users for purchases they make online with partnered merchants. The bar introduced a more sophisticated, streamlined, and unobtrusive way to save money online in one centralized location.

Co-founders David Azar, Kouros Armandeh and Tyler McIntyre realized they could bring their project to new height by developing an easy to use website that would be benefitial to both merchants and users. MonaBar.com was thus born.[2]
