Moanes Dabour (born 14 May 1992), also known as Munas Dabbur, is an Arab-Israeli professional footballer who plays for Grasshopper and for Israel National Under-21 as a Striker.

Club career

Dabour started his career in the Maccabi Nazareth and Maccabi Tel Aviv youth academies. He made his senior debut with Maccabi Tel Aviv on 2011. In 2011–12, he participated in 26 league matches for Maccabi, scoring eight goals.

In the 2012–13 season, he was part of the Maccabi team that crowned the Israeli Premier League after a ten-year drought, providing the team with 10 goals in 26 matches. Dabour started this season with two important goals on 27 August 201 against Maccabi Haifa, goals that later appeared to be crucial for the rest of the season in the race for the title between the teams. Dabour ended the season after he got injured for a one-month period during the warm up to the derby match against Hapoel Tel Aviv on 6 April 2013.[1]

On February 4, 2014 Dabbur confirmed his transfer to Grasshopper Club Zürich.

International career

In 2013, Dabour was part of the Israel U-21 national team that played in the 2013 UEFA European Under-21 Football Championship that was hosted in Israel. Dabour started in two out of three matches during the group stage of the tournament, against the U21 national teams of England and Italy.[2][3]

Personal life

Dabour's brother, Anas Dabour is currently playing as a midfielder for Maccabi Ahi Nazareth.
