Coordinates: 40°01′12″N 44°29′28″E / 40.02000°N 44.49111°E Mkhchyan (Armenian: Մխչյան, also Romanized as Mkhch’yan; formerly, Imanshalu) is a town in the Ararat Province of Armenia. The town is named after a Soviet commander killed in 1921.[1]
