Mizusawa Station (水沢駅 Mizusawa Eki) is a railway station on the Tōhoku Main Line in Ōshū, Iwate, Japan, operated by East Japan Railway Company (JR East). Its nambu furin (wind chimes) are one of the 100 Soundscapes of Japan.[citation needed]

Station layout

The ground-level station has two platforms serving three tracks.

History

Mizusawa station opened on 1 November 1890.[1]
