Mitchell is an unincorporated community of 1,136 in Manitoba, Canada, located in the rural municipality of Hanover.[1]
Mitchell is located three kilometers west of Steinbach, Manitoba along Provincial Highway 52. The community is settled in a mostly forested area and is serviced by several businesses, seniors centre, a park, three churches, and an arena. Mitchell has two schools, an elementary and a middle school, which are part of the Hanover School Division. After graduating from middle school, students from the Mitchell area attend the Steinbach Regional Secondary School.
