Before joining the 36ers for the 2010–11 NBL season he was a member of the Australian Under-18 team that played in the Albert Schweitzer International Tournament in Mannheim where he was tournament MVP.
At only 18 years of age, Creek played for Victoria in the 2011 Under-20 Nationals. He capped off an outstanding championships by claiming the gold medal with the successful Victorian team and winning the prestigious Bob Staunton award for tournament MVP. He was the leading scorer for the Vics and averaged 19 points, 7.6 rebounds and 3 assists per game, his team victorious 77-70 over a determined Queensland in the final.[1]

During the 2010–11 season, Creek played 20 games for the 36ers, averaging 5.9 points and 2.4 rebounds per game. He made his NBL debut on 3 December 2010 against the Townsville Crocodiles at the Adelaide Arena scoring 7 points in just over 21 minutes of game time in the 36ers 92-79 win.[2]
Creek's solid play during his debut NBL season and his success in the 2011 National U20 championship saw him rewarded with selection in the Australian Emus (U19) training squad for the 2011 FIBA Under-19 World Championship.[3]
In March 2012, Creek signed with the South Adelaide Panthers in the Central Australian Basketball League.[4]
In December 2012, Creek finally got his chance to shine with extra court time for the 36ers following the release of import guard C. J. Massingale. He was starting to fulfil his potential when on 15 December he ruptured his Achilles tendon against the Townsville Crocodiles. The injury sidelineed him (who had been selected to participate in the 2012/13 NBL All-Star Slam Dunk Competition) for the rest of the 2012–13 season.[5]
On 24 April 2013, Creek re-signed with the Adelaide 36ers for the 2013–14 NBL season.[6] He made his NBL return in the 36ers opening game of the season, scoring 10 points in an 83-80 away loss to the Perth Wildcats at the Perth Arena. Creek, who played 16:35 from the bench against the Wildcats, showed no ill-effects from his Achilles injury.
