Miss Venezuela 2012, the 60th Miss Venezuela pageant, was held on August 30, 2012 in Caracas, Venezuela, after weeks of events. The winner of the pageant was Maria Gabriela Isler, Miss Guarico. The pageant was broadcast live on Venevision from the Salón Naiguatá, Hotel Tamanaco Intercontinental, Caracas.[4] At the conclusion of the final night of competition, outgoing titleholder Irene Esser crowned María Gabriela Isler as the new Miss Venezuela Universe.[5]
The winners of 60th Miss Venezuela went on to have successful runs in major international beauty pageants. María Gabriela Isler became Miss Universe 2013, the seventh overall and third in the past six years. Alyz Henrich became Miss Earth 2013, the second overall after Alexandra Braun, who won the pageant in 2005. This marks the first time Venezuela wins multiple international beauty pageants since 1981. Elián Herrera competed in Miss International 2013 but failed to place in the semifinals.

- Maria Gabriela Isler (Guarico) won Miss Universe 2013 in Moscow, Russia. She is the 7th Venezuelan to win the title.
- Daniela Chalbaud (Distrito Capital) won Miss Intercontinental 2012 in Germany.
- Ivanna Vale (Táchira) won the Reinado Internacional del Café 2013 in Colombia.
- Nerys Díaz (Portuguesa) placed as 1st runner up (Virreina) in Reina Mundial del Banano 2012 in Ecuador.
- María Teresa Solano (Barinas) placed as 1st runner up (Virreina) in Reina Internacional del Trópico 2012 in Honduras.
- Alyz Henrich (Falcón) is the first girl from her home state to place in the finalists in the history of the pageant. There had been other Miss Falcóns' who placed among the finalists, but they were from other states, and she is now the new Miss Earth 2013. She is the 2nd Venezuelan to win the title and the 1st winner from the Miss Venezuela Organization.
