Miskovice

Miskovice is a village in Kutná Hora District, Central Bohemia, Czech Republic, located 4.5 km west of Kutná Hora. On the date August 8, 2006 it has 873 inhabitants. First written notice about village is from year 1131.

In 2003, the first Czech fossil bones of a non-avian dinosaur were found in an abandoned quarry near this village. These belong to a small ornithopod related to the popular genus Iguanodon.[1]
