Mischodon is a monotypic plant genus under the family Picrodendraceae. The sole species is Mischodon zeylanicus is a tree native to South asia.

numerous, whorled in 4's, often drooping, linear-oblong-lanceolate, narrow rounded base, notched apex, flush reddish.

Bark- rough, brown; young parts finely pubescent, bluntly quadrangular.

pale yellowish green or pinkish.
Fruits
dark green, glabrous capsule, back of 3 lobes bluntly keeled.
Site
monsoon forest subcanopy, scrub.

Wood- construction.
