Mirkowice [mirkɔˈvit͡sɛ] is a village in the administrative district of Gmina Jasień, within Żary County, Lubusz Voivodeship, in western Poland.[1] It lies approximately 3 kilometres (2 mi) north-east of Jasień, 17 km (11 mi) north-west of Żary, and 38 km (24 mi) south-west of Zielona Góra.
Before 1945 the area was part of Germany (see Territorial changes of Poland after World War II).
