Mireille Johnston

Mireille Johnston (née Mireille Busticaccia) (1935 – 2000) was a French/American cook, author and scholar who also hosted television shows on the BBC.
Biography
Johnston was born Mireille Busticaccia in Nice on 4 October 1935. Her father had been a member of the French resistance.
In 1992 Johnston appeared in A Cooks Tour of France, a BBC TV cookery series. She also translated the film The Sorrow and the Pity – about the collaboration of French nationals in a town during the second world war.
Johnston died in Paris, France on 5 October 2000.
