Mircea Beuran

Mircea Beuran (born June 5, 1953) is a Romanian politician, member of the Social Democratic Party, who served as the Health Minister in Adrian Năstase cabinet. Between 2000 and 2003 he was State Councilor. Beuran has been accused of embroilment in various forms of corruption.[1] He is the director of the Surgery Clinic within the Emergency Hospital Floreasca, Bucharest.

He was also was accused in 2003 that he coordinated a series of guides in medicine that plagiarized the papers of authors from the United States and France.[2]
