Mircea Şimon (born January 22, 1954) is a retired Romanian boxer. At the 1976 Summer Olympics he won the Heavyweight Silver medal for Romania.

Pro career

Şimon turned pro in 1978 in United States in the heavyweight division. He had pretty limited success and retired at the end of 1979 after the loss against Leroy Caldwell. He held a 12-1-1 with 10 KO's pro record.
