Biography
Samson Andah was born in Accra, Ghana. He and his family moved to Australia shortly after he was born, first living in Melbourne, then Canberra, then finally settling in Sydney with his family when he was in his teens, settling in Quakers Hill. He spent his high school years staying up late creating beats in his bedroom studio, and found fame in 2010 with Better Dayz which was produced for a HSC music assignment. He was signed to Sony Music Entertainment later that year. He has since worked with artists such as Israel Cruz, Stan Walker, Jessica Mauboy and Timomatic.
Andah originally played drums in local punk bands. He first began experimenting with rap in 2005 and started collecting equipment to produce beats in his bedroom. Miracle produced the track "Better Dayz" for his HSC music composition, which his friends also shot a music video for. Uploading it onto YouTube, the track became popular through word of mouth and saw Miracle get over 20,000 fans on Facebook, gain over 100,000 views on YouTube, and his song was played on Sydney community radio station FBI. Catching the attention of record labels, Miracle signed with Sony Music Australia and his first single "Better Dayz" was officially released to radio. Miracle released his first studio album, iLLER. EP, on 17 August 2012, which contains his single, "Party Of The Year". Miracle has also been a supporting act for many rappers including Big Boi, Lupe Fiasco, Maseo, Rick Ross and Childish Gambino [2] on their Australian Tours.
In early 2011, Miracle toured Australia as a performer in the SupaFest hip hop festival.[3] In Early 2013, Miracle released the Motivation Mixtape for free download, which featured the singles Happiness and Karate.
