Minoru Terada

Minoru Terada (寺田 稔 Terada Minoru, born January 24, 1958) is a Japanese politician serving in the House of Representatives in the Diet (national legislature) as a member of the Liberal Democratic Party. A native of Hiroshima Prefecture and graduate of the University of Tokyo he joined the Ministry of Finance in 1980, attending Harvard University in United States while in the ministry. Leaving the ministry in 2004 he was elected for the first time in the same year.
His wife Keiko is a granddaughter of Hayato Ikeda, former Prime minister of Japan.
