Mina Orfanou

Mina Orfanou (Greek: Μίνα Ορφανού, born May 3, 1982 in Rhodes) is a Greek actress. She is the first transgender woman to gain mainstream success and acceptance in Greece. She is notable for her lead role in Strella, for which she received the Best Actress award at the 1st Hellenic Film Academy Awards.

Personal life

Mina has been through sex reassignment surgery at the age of sixteen. At this age she left her home, Kalymnos, and moved to Athens, having no possessions.Mina was in the list for the 11 most beautiful transgender women globally.
