Soviet base

A Soviet Army base, Milovice played an important role during the 1968 Warsaw Pact invasion of Czechoslovakia and became the headquarters for the CGF (Central Group of Forces) afterward.[1] The last of the troops left in 1991 and the base was abandoned in 1995.
