Milnathort

Milnathort is a small village in the Perth & Kinross region of central Scotland.

The smaller neighbour of nearby Kinross, Milnathort has a population of roughly 2000 people. It is situated amidst picturesque countryside at the foot of the Ochil Hills, and near the north shore of Loch Leven. Recently, it has become more easily accessible due to the development of the M90 motorway.

Amenities

Milnathort's amenities are typical of a small Scottish town. It is home to a nine hole golf course, a large park area, miles of a countryside bike path, a primary school, a range of traditional pubs and cafés and a shop which sells renowned ice cream. Milnathort also benefits from the nearby amenities of Kinross such as a leisure centre, a doctor's surgery and the Loch Leven Community Campus.
