Mill Island is an ice-domed island, 25 miles (40 km) long and 16 miles (26 km) wide, lying 25 miles (40 km) north of the Bunger Hills. Mill Island is located at 65°30′S 100°40′E / 65.500°S 100.667°E / -65.500; 100.667. Mill Island was discovered in February 1936 by personnel on the William Scoresby, and named for Hugh Robert Mill.
