Milestone College is an educational institution located at Uttara in Dhaka, Bangladesh. The institution has school, high school and college section.

About the college

The institution, growing from a Kindergarten to a Junior School and then to a secondary school, has now emerged as a leading college of Bangladesh.This college have both English curriculum and Bangla curriculum for all student. 50% of its students come to this college following personal recommendation from previous students or their parents.

It has students from different backgrounds, casts and creeds all over Bangladesh (750 students residing in the hostel). The College has seven campuses at Uttara Model Town, Dhaka-1230, Bangladesh. Each campus is independent.It has good transportation facilities for students.Students can admit from any part of the city.

In its college section,principal conducts an assembly every weeks which is very effective for students regular study. He provides some real life examples and advices those help to make future plan or career.

In its English Medium section, the national curriculum (S.S.C & H.S.C syllabus) is followed in the English version. This section is headed by a Colonel (retd.) of Bangladesh Army. There are about 150 teachers working in the (English Medium) section. The college has over 7500 students and 512 teachers (six Retired Army officers, five retired professors from Cadet Colleges, five retired associate professors, ten assistant professors from government colleges and the rest are all lecturers.

It has laboratories and facilities for curricular and co-curricular activities. Stage events such as debate, extempore speech, recitation, seminar, general knowledge competition take place every week in its own auditorium. The college organizes seminar, symposiums and work-shops.

Milestone School and College is approved by the Ministry of Education, Government of People's Republic of Bangladesh, vide their letter no. sha 9168 (part) 313, dated, 18 May 2002 and Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education, Dhaka, Letter no. 1079 dated 24 July 2002.
