Miklós Kovács (Prekmurian: Mikloš Kovač, Slovene: Nikolaj Kovač) (November 24, 1857 – November 23, 1937) was a Hungarian Slovene cantor and writer.
Born was in Šalovci (Prekmurje) in the Kingdom of Hungary. His parents was Mihály Kováts(sic!) and Rozália Kováts. Dealing in farming, however also he wrote mostly religious songs. His hymnal was lost over time, just like was lost the hymnal of his partner, József Konkolics. János Zsupánek retained some of their songs.
Konkolics and Kovács in 1910 subsidized the release of the Zsupánek's book Mrtvecsne peszmi.
He died in Veliki Šalovci, in Kingdom of Yugoslavia.
