Mike Tisdale

Mike Tisdale (born September 15, 1989) is an American professional basketball player. He is currently working in sporting goods at Scheels in Springfield IL. Tisdale played college basketball at the University of Illinois, former Illini basketball player and stands 7'1" and weighs 245 lbs.^[1] He appeared with the Philadelphia 76ers of the National Basketball Association during the 2011 preseason.^[2]

Tisdale grew up in Riverton, Illinois and attended the University of Illinois from 2007-2011.

Tisdale went undrafted in the June 2011 NBA Draft and got married to high school sweetheart Dina Moats on August 13. A week later, the couple left for Germany, where Tisdale had signed with DJK Würzburg.^[3] He was then cut shortly thereafter, after the team discovered he had "back problems". In 2011, Tisdale played for the Red Claws but was released after 8 games. In 2012, he signed with the Mad Ants but left after 12 games.
