Michael "Mike" Sylvester (born December 10, 1951) is a basketball coach at Cincinnati Hills Christian Academy and former Olympian.

Biography

Born in Cincinnati, Ohio, Sylvester graduated from Moeller High School and played college basketball at the University of Dayton. He was drafted with the 15th pick in the sixth round by the Detroit Pistons in the 1974 NBA Draft and won the silver medal with the Italy team at the 1980 Summer Olympics in Moscow. Sylvester is a current resident of Loveland, Ohio.[1] At 6'5", he is an accurate shooter. Throughout his career in Italy (1977–1990) he played for Olimpia Milano, Scavolini Pesaro, Basket Rimini and Virtus Bologna.[2]
