Mike Murley

Mike Murley is a jazz musician in Toronto, Canada who was a member of the celebrated jazz ensemble The Shuffle Demons.[1] Along with leading various projects, he has also been a sideman with musicians and groups such as David Occhipinti, David Braid, Rob McConnell, and Metalwood. He graduated from the music program at York University in Toronto with a BFA in 1986 and is currently a professor of jazz at the University of Toronto.[2] His main instrument is the tenor saxophone and he currently plays with the Murley/Braid Quartet. He is a recipient of multiple Juno Awards for his music. [3]
Mike also teaches at "The" Jazz Camp (campIMC.ca) each summer at Camp Manitou outside of Parry Sound, ON.
