Mike Maguire, a Democrat, is the mayor of Eagan, Minnesota.
Personal life and education
Maguire earned a bachelor's degree from Suffolk University and a master's degree from Mankato State University. Maguire and his wife, Janelle, have one son.[1]
Career
Maguire was elected to the Eagan City Council in 2003, and was elected mayor in 2007.[1] Maguire ran for a seat in the Minnesota Senate in 2012. Maguire withdrew from the primary after the Minnesota Democratic Party endorsed Senator Jim Carlson's ultimately successful comeback bid.[2]
