Mike Cooper (broadcaster)

Mike S. Cooper is a Canadian radio personality in Toronto, Canada, co-hosting the 98.1 CHFI morning show with Erin Davis. Cooper was born in Hamilton, Ontario.

- Broadcaster at Montreal's CKGM (1976 to 1978)
- Disc Jockey at CFTR in Toronto (1978 to 1988)
- Disc Jockey at CKEY in Toronto (1987 to 1991)
- Worked at both CHEX and CKWF The Wolf in Peterborough, Ontario (1991–1992).
- CHAM (1993–1995) in Hamilton, Ontario
- Lead morning host at CJEZ in Toronto (1995–2005)
- Currently morning co-host at CHFI in Toronto
Accomplishments
- He set the world record for riding a Ferris wheel (at the 1975 Canadian National Exhibition) during his time at 1050 CHUM.[citation needed]
- He was the creator of the 5:10 "Stupid joke of the day" during his time at 680 CFTR.
