Jan Mikael Håfström (Swedish: [ˈmiːkˈaɛl ˈhoːvˈstrœm]; born 1 July 1960 in Lund), known as Mikael Håfström, is a Swedish screenwriter and director.

Biography

Håfström directed 1408, a horror film based on the Stephen King novel of the same name, in 2007.[1]

In 2011, he directed the exorcism thriller The Rite,[2] which is based on a novel from Matt Baglio.[3]
