Mihai Macovei

Mihai Macovei (born Gura Humorului, 29 October 1986) is a Romanian rugby union player. He plays as a lock and as a flanker.
Macovei plays for Baia Mare at the Romanian Rugby Championship.
He has currently 36 caps for Romania, since his first game at the 58-0 win over Ukraine, at 3 June 2006, for the Six Nations B, in Kiev, aged 19 years old. He has 3 tries scored, 15 points in aggregate. He is the captain of Romania, being called for the 2011 Rugby World Cup, where he played in four games but without scoring.[1]
