Miha Blažič (born 8 May 1993 in Koper)[1] is a Slovenian football defender, who plays for Koper in the Slovenian PrvaLiga.[2]

Blažič signed his first professional contract with Koper at the age of 17 and plays with the main squad.[3]

He has represented Slovenia at the youth level in all categories, with 4 years as a captain.[4]

While playing for Koper, Blažič received attention from many European clubs.[5] At age of 14, he was called to Birmingham City and Newcastle United in England for a trial.[6]
