Micropterix carthaginiensis is a species of moth belonging to the family Micropterigidae. It was described by Heath in 1986.[1] It is only kwown from Tunisia, where it occurs in the marshland on the southern shore of Garaet Achkel and at the type locality Djebel Bou Kournine.[2]
