The Galápagos Lava Lizard (Microlophus albemarlensis) is one of nine species of lava lizard endemic to the Galápagos Islands found on the following islands: Isabela, Fernandina, Cuatro Hermanos, and Tortuga.[1] The species is commonly attributed to the genus Microlophus but has been attributed to the genus Tropidurus.[2]
