Michelle Maxwell MacLaren is a Canadian television director and producer who has worked on numerous series both in Canada and the United States, and is perhaps best known for her work on shows such as The X-Files, Breaking Bad, Frank Darabont's series The Walking Dead and HBO's series Game of Thrones. She was raised in Vancouver, British Columbia.[1] She was nominated for five Primetime Emmy Awards; one 2010 for directing a season three episode of Breaking Bad entitled One Minute,[2] one in 2013 for directing the season five episode Gliding Over All, and the other three 2010, 2012, and 2013 for Outstanding Drama Series (Breaking Bad), on which she serves as an executive producer.[3] She won in 2013. She was also nominated for two PGA Awards with Breaking Bad.
