Michel Singher

Michel Singher is a French born conductor currently serving as a Coordinator of Opera at San José State University's School of Music and Dance in San Jose, California.[1]
He began his career working as an accompanist for his father, the French baritone Martial Singher. Inspired by his Grandfather, German conductor Fritz Busch, he spent a decade conducting in German Opera Houses. He has since conducted some 60 operas over many hundreds of performances throughout the world.[2] He has also been an understudy for Sir Charles Mackerras for several productions at San Francisco Opera.[3]
Michel Singher's most recent performance was of La Traviata with Opera San Jose.
