Michael Alan Sam, Jr. (born January 7, 1990)[1] is an American football defensive end. He played college football at Missouri.

College career

Sam attended the University of Missouri from 2009 to 2013. As a senior in 2013, Sam was the SEC Defensive Player of the Year and a first-team all-SEC selection.[2] He was also a first-team All-American by Walter Camp and the Sporting News.[3][4][5]
