Michael Morris Hayman MBE (born 3 January 1970) is a public relations consultant in the United Kingdom. He is a co-founder of Seven Hills, a London-based campaigning communication consultancy.[1] In 2010 he became a Regional Chairman of Coutts & Co, with responsibility for entrepreneurs [2] and in 2011, he co-founded StartUp Britain, a national initiative for early stage enterprise. He is an ambassador for the Courvoisier Future 500 and chairs MADE: The Entrepreneur Festival which is based in Sheffield. He holds non executive positions with the cities of Westminster and Edinburgh and served as a commissioner on the enquiry into the future of cities and local government finance.
StartUp Britain
As an advocate of entrepreneurship, Michael Hayman is a co-founder of StartUp Britain, a campaign by entrepreneurs for entrepreneurs, which was launched in 2011 by the Prime Minister David Cameron, the Chancellor George Osbourne and the Secretary of State for Business Vince Cable in response to the Government's call for an 'enterprise-led' recovery.[citation needed]

Public profile
Hayman is a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Public Relations and a Non-Executive Member of Edinburgh Festivals. He is one of the Courvoisier Future 500, the Observer Newspaper's analysis of British business talent,[6] and is listed in the 2011 "PR Week Power Book: The definitive guide to the most influential people in PR". In 2009, PRWeek Powerbook described Hayman as “A skilful public speaker and expert on destination marketing". He is a Board Member for National Business Awards[7] and is also listed in Debrett's People of Today.
Hayman was appointed Member of the Order of the British Empire (MBE) in the 2014 New Year Honours for services to enterprise, promotion, entrepreneurship, and education.[8]
Speaker engagements and publications
He is a regular guest on national news programmes, speaking on a wide range of topics including the challenges facing the United States of America[9] and London’s reputation in the global arena.[10][11] Hayman has also appeared on news programs to talk about the challenges that Entrepreneurialism face and how to overcome them.[12] In addition, he has written and contributed to a number of publications on Destination Marketing and Reputation Management.[13] Hayman has also compered events including MADE: The Entrepreneur Festival,[14] ACCELERATE 2013[15] and Follow the Entrepreneur.[16]
