Michael D. Unes is a Republican member of the Illinois House of Representatives; he has represented the 91st District since 2011. He lives in East Peoria with his wife, Natalie, and four children, and graduated from Bradley University with a bachelor's degree in 1996. He has in the past served as the mayor pro-tempore of East Peoria, as well as serving on that city's city council.
