Michael Azira (born August 22, 1987 in Kampala, Uganda) is an Ugandan footballer currently playing for Charleston Battery in the USL Professional Division. Head coach for Daniel Island Soccer Academy u16 and u18 Boyz in Charleston, SC Served as assistant coach at ums-Wright for two seasons, helping lead them to a state title in 2011. In 2012 he scored the winning goal for the Charleston Battery against the Wilmington Hammerheads in the USL Pro finals. Azira also scored mulltiple other significant goals for the Battery in their 2013 season
