Michałowice [mixawɔˈvit͡sɛ] is a village in the administrative district of Gmina Lubsza, within Brzeg County, Opole Voivodeship, in south-western Poland.[1] It lies approximately 5 kilometres (3 mi) south-west of Lubsza, 2 km (1 mi) north of Brzeg, and 40 km (25 mi) north-west of the regional capital Opole.
Before 1945 the area was part of Germany (see Territorial changes of Poland after World War II).
The village has a population of 600.
