Michaël Joseph Niçoise (born 19 September 1984 in Bondy, Seine-Saint-Denis) – commonly known as Dawood Nicoise – is a French football player from Guadeloupe, who is currently playing for Putrajaya SPA F.C. in the Malaysia Premier League.
Dawood made his PKNS debut on 21 January 2012 in a 2–1 win with Kuala Lumpur FA and scored his first two goals in his next outing in a 2–2 draw with Sabah FA.
He is a powerful forward that strikes fear into his opponents on the pitch. Physically unstoppable, he makes good use of his height, shoots easily and so whenever catching sight of goal he tries his luck. A generous amount of art and expertise makes him a striker who lives and breathes goals. And, given his age, he has the future at his feet.
Playing in only his second Super League match for PKNS, the towering forward showed his predatory instincts by smashing in two sensational goals that gave his side an authoritative lead. Sabah subsequently staged an impressive comeback to draw level, but that takes nothing away from Nicoise with the former Al-Masry forward showing his phenomenal abilities as a hitman.
Youth
Nice football began at an early age in his hometown club, the ASCC Chelles. He was spotted at 13 by AJ Auxerre but he leaves the family nest,(2 brothers- Eddie Nicoise and Jimmy Niciose) at 14 to join the sports study CS Meaux and the training center of Paris Saint Germain.
Clubs
Dawood began his career at Sporting Club of Amiens, training center that offers him his first professional contract in 2003.
In 2005 he signs with Belgium club FC Brussels. After a quick spell in Turkey with Ankara Gençlerbirliği, he returned to Belgium to the Royal Mouscron during the 2006–2007 winter transfer window.
In 2008 following a breach of contract he left the club. After successful trial he signed a one year contract with FC Neuchatel Xamax in Switzerland Super League.
After Xamax, he climbs straight to Ethnikos Achna D1 in Cyprus where he remained six months, then played in the Reunion for 4 months at the SS Saint-Louis.
He then joined the RFC Tournai for a full season which earned him a transfer to Al-Masry, one of the most popular clubs in Egypt.
Following a very bad experience and financial concerns with the club despite his good preparation Dawood terminates his contract with the club Al Masry before even having playing any official match, fans close to the player are still sad about his departure as he showed a lot of talent during the pre season.
He just signed with PKNS FC Super League in Malaysia, there he is wearing number 7, it's based on personal believe as he has the desire to reside in a Muslim country, where in Malaysia it's a 65% of the population.
International career
Niçoise made his debut for Guadeloupe at the Caribbean Cup in December 2008 against Cuba.[1] He scored in his second game against Haiti.
FMI Singapore
Dawood Nicoise is under contract with FIFA AGENT "Marco Guimares" from FMI Sports.
Personal life
He is Muslim, having converted to Islam. He also has two daughters.[2]
