Miangul Adnan Aurangzeb

Miangul Adnan Aurangzeb is the heir apparent to the pretendership of the former Swat princely state.^[1] He is the son of Miangul Aurangzeb and grandson of Miangul Jahan Zeb the last ruler of Swat.^[2]

Education

He graduated from Aitchison College,^{[citation needed]} an elite Pakistani secondary school. He is a professional electrical engineer who studied in the United States at Northeastern University in Boston, Massachusetts.^{[citation needed]} He has served in the Pakistani parliament as a member of parliament in 2004 till 2008.^{[citation needed]}

Humanitarian service

He and his wife are currently active in assistance to refugees near Islamabad from Swat.^{[citation needed]}

Career as an electrical engineer

Miangul Adnan Aurangzeb is currently working towards the construction of the Kohala Dam in Kashmir with a Chinese–Pakistani consortium.^{[citation needed]} The consortium has expressed interest in bidding for the development of windfarms in the family's former dominion.^{[citation needed]}
