Metaxochori

Metaxochori (Greek: Μεταξοχώρι) is one of the five traditional villages of the Agia municipality, in the Larissa regional unit, Thessaly, Greece.

In the area of Metaxochori, have found tombstones from the Hellenistic times. The inhabitants are principally engaged in the cultivation of apple and cherry and the area is known for its silk production. The village is separated in two parts, with a small stream and a small bridge connecting each other.

The healthy environment for the region are the forests, surrounding the whole area.
