Metachrostis velocior is a moth of the Noctuidae family. It was described by Staudinger in 1892. It is found on Malta, Crete and Cyprus, as well as in southern Italy, Greece, Turkey and the Middle East.[1]
The wingspan is 20–24 mm. Adults are on wing from June to July in one generation per year.[2]
