Mertensophryne lindneri is a species of toad in the Bufonidae family. It is found in Malawi, Mozambique, and Tanzania. Its natural habitats are subtropical or tropical dry forests, moist savanna, subtropical or tropical dry shrubland, subtropical or tropical moist shrubland, rivers, intermittent rivers, freshwater marshes, intermittent freshwater marshes, rocky areas, arable land, plantations, rural gardens, urban areas, and heavily degraded former forest. It is threatened by habitat loss.
