Merošina (Serbian Cyrillic: Мерошина) is a village and municipality located in the Nišava District of Serbia. According to 2011 census, a village has a population of 906 inhabitants, while the municipality has 13,916.
Geography
The municipality borders Aleksinac municipality in the north, City of Niš in the east, Doljevac and Žitorađa municipalities in the south, and Prokuplje municipality in the west.
Demographics
Ethnic groups in the municipality (2002 census):
- Serbs = 14,059
- Roma = 588
