Merì is a comune (municipality) in the Province of Messina in the Italian region Sicily, located about 170 km east of Palermo and about 25 km west of Messina. As of 31 December 2004, it had a population of 2,209 and an area of 1.9 km².[1]
Merì borders the following municipalities: Barcellona Pozzo di Gotto, Milazzo, San Filippo del Mela, Santa Lucia del Mela.
