Mensur Mujdža (born 28 March 1984[1]) is a Croatian-born Bosnian footballer. He has represented Croatia on youth level and now he represents Bosnia and Herzegovina on senior level. He plays for SC Freiburg.[2]
Career
Mujdža began his career at the age of 18 in the youth team of NK Zagreb and transferred from the Croatian First Football League to SC Freiburg in the Bundesliga in June 2009.[3]
On 12 January 2011, Mujdža extended his contract.[4][5]
International career
He is also a former member of the Croatian U-21 team.[3] In May 2010, it was confirmed that Mujdža would opt to play for the Bosnia and Herzegovina national football team.[6] Mujdža earned his first call-up for the Bosnia and Herzegovina national football team for the friendly games against Sweden on 29 May 2010 and Germany on 3 June 2010.[7]
On 10 August 2010, he made his debut in a friendly game against Qatar.
Personal life
His family is from Doboj, Bosnia and Herzegovina[8] and his brother Jasmin Mujdža played for the Bosnia and Herzegovina national football team.[9]
